Gammelbro TimeOut glamping
Do you also dream of a camping holiday, but do not feel like investing in a caravan, and do you think that a two-person igloo tent is a little too scrappy?
Then we have the solution for you! The new concept of glamping - glamorous camping - has also come to Gammelbro.
Here you can get all the benefits of a camping holiday, being close to nature, waking up to birdsong, just with much more comfort than at traditional camping. The tent is set up, decorated and ready for use, so all you have to do is enjoy your holiday!
We have built a number of brand new and fantastic glamping tents that are ready to move into for a luxury tent holiday. With 2 separate bedrooms, 4 beds, dining table, full tableware, refrigerator, hob and kerosene stove for heating you will not be short of anything. On the outdoor terrace we have also installed a gas grill, so it is easy and quick to prepare the summer food.

The area around Gammelbro Camping
The small port of Årøsund is the only location along the Little Belt, where fish is still being landed, packed and sent for sale to the fish auction in Hvidesande. Also caviar is being exported from Årøsund to countries like Japan, the USA and Australia. Next to the fish factory in Årøsund the old boat building workshop is located. The company keeps the old craft traditions of traditional boat building alive.
Customers and others interested are always welcome to watch the boat builders work. The port is also home to Årøsund Seaside Hotel – A beautiful building from the early 20th century. The restaurant “Skipperstuen” is located on the ground floor, only a few metres from the beach and is open through most of the year.
